Came here for a tribute weekend, and we absolutely enjoyed it. Food was good, the staff were friendly and room was nice and warm. Can't expect a 5 star service for a 2 star price, can we? I don't understand why those people left negative reviews moan so much about small small things. From my experience, this hotel is a lovely traditional hotel.

I visited Seascape for a weekend for Friday 1st to Monday 4th June. I found the reception staff very friendly helpful and welcoming. The bedrooms were very clean and comfortable but towels were not changed. Billy the waiter who served us in the dining room was very friendly and efficient and all the food was excellent. The entertainment each night was excellent and barman was helpful and pleasant. A great weekend and I would recommend this very pleasant old hotel and I hope to visit again E.S.

Lovely staff, location is brilliant. Breakfast and dinner is included and lovely. Could have more power outlets as our room had two sockets, one for the TV and one for the kettle. Overall pleasant

This what British seaside holidays are made of. Came here with a Harry Shaw coach party for 4 nights with breakfast & dinner included. Fantastic! I hope we can preserve this kind of experience at the seaside because it's irreplaceable. People who think it should be updated etc. are completely missing the point. Gorgeous seaside retro feel and it's kept spotless, staff are so diligent. Meal times were a pleasure thanks to the hard working staff, especially the Greek waiter Billy who I swear is actually resident entertainer. Food is incredible value, decent options for this range and massive portions, rolled out of the dining room every night. Stunning bay window view of the bay from our huge spacious room. Lovely little garden too, though the resident bulldog does leave some presents!

It was very kind of the owners to let the room out to me for that long in these unfortunate times, other guests dont seem to realise just how much is taken for granted. It was a very easy place to stay, everything accessible, great services and clean. The guys I would like to thank are Nigel, Jay and Rob who are absolute legends, great people to talk with, I only wish I could thank you guys more for how you have helped me. Merry Christmas and Happy new Year to the staff and owners. Much Love Joe from room 65 xxx

Great value for money if you're looking for a place to get your head down for a few nights in Torquay. Robert on the front desk was amenable and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. A close walk to the sea front and attractions. Would definitely return.

Great budget hotel. Staff were pleasant. Rooms are very large and spotlessly clean, including new bathroom suite. I had an upper level room with good views. This is a budget hotel though, so some of the decor is a little dated, some floorboards squeak a tiny bit etc. I was really happy with my stay, and would definitely come here again.

The hotel is old and the floorboard creeks. It hasn’t been renovated for a while but it still has an aesthetic of an old 90s motel room. That being said our room was pretty clean and the staff was very helpful too. We were not provided the Wi-Fi password for the network that reached till our room but we figured out the password on our own by trial and error. The password is seascapehotel
